Thank you for visiting the Mass Wiggle website!
The largest worm farm west of the Mississippi! We are happily located in sunny Petaluma, California and have over twenty million worms busy making an all-natural fertilizer that helps plants grow big and strong.
So who becomes a worm farmer? In the case of Mass Wiggle, you have a road building construction company owner, a master mechanic, a third generation dairy farmer, and an Internet advertising salesman. Strange mix huh?
What did they have in common? Each founder wants to make the world a greener and healthier place.
What do we do? We make vermicompost. CalRecycle (California’s recycling regulatory agency), says “Vermicompost, or castings, is worm manure. Worm castings are considered by many in horticulture to be the very best soil amendment available. The nutrient content of castings is dependent on the material fed to the worms--and worms are commonly fed materials with high nutrient content, such as food waste and manures.” Thanks Cal-Recycle… We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
